Kaimanaaki Ākonga
Kaimanaaki Ākonga provides targeted support and input into all programmes at Te Rau Matatau. Kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) and e-Wānanga (online) support are available to suit all needs.
One of the immediate benefits to students is whanaungatanga (sense of belonging) that is always present at Te Rau Matatau We are guided by the value of manaakitanga (to nurture) in everything we do.
Purpose of
Kaimanaaki Ākonga
The purpose of Kaimanaaki Ākonga is:
- To provide academic tertiary study skills and support to tauira
- To support tauira to become independent learners
- To offer confidential pastoral care to tauira holistically
